Cebu Progress Marketing was originally established in 1948 dealing in raw materials for the shoe industry, and later expanding into canvas and upholstery materials by 1982. By the middle of 1988, the company also began selling selected lines of office and home furnishings.

Since then, Cebu Progress Marketing has diversified its product line even further to include bag materials, tarpaulins and laminated sacks, vinyl and rubber matting, foam mattresses, stuffed toy materials, plasticware and houseware products.
